Migration Brewing Gresham to Participate in “Change Wars” Community Fundraiser

Award-winning brewery invites the community to turn spare change into local impact during week-long competition.

Gresham, Oregon (02.17.26): Migration Brewing is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Change Wars, a community-driven fundraising event hosted by the Historic Downtown Gresham Association (HDGA). Running from February 22 through February 28, 2026, the event pits local businesses against one another in a friendly competition to see who can collect the most "change" to support downtown revitalization and community projects.

As a staple of the Gresham business community since opening its production facility and brewpub in 2018, Migration Brewing is eager to leverage its taproom as a collection site. During the week of Change Wars, guests visiting the Gresham location are encouraged to drop their spare coins into the designated Migration "war chest."

"Migration was built on the idea that beer has the power to bring people together and ignite positive change," said Colin Rath, a Partner at Migration Brewing. "Participating in Change Wars is a perfect way for us to support the Historic Downtown Gresham Association and give back to the neighborhood that has supported our growth. We’re calling on all our regulars and neighbors to help us take the top spot for a great cause."

The "Change Wars" format adds a competitive twist to local giving:

● The Goal: Businesses compete to raise the most funds.
● The Impact: All proceeds benefit the HDGA’s efforts to keep downtown Gresham vibrant, supporting events like Third Thursdays,  seasonal flower baskets, and community clean-up days.
● The Reward: Beyond bragging rights, the winning business helps demonstrate the collective power of the Gresham community.

Migration Brewing’s Gresham pub, located at 18188 NE Wilkes Rd, features 20 taps of fresh craft beer and a full pizza kitchen, making it an ideal spot for community members to gather and contribute to the campaign.
