Join us as we speak with Victoria Yokoi of Boeing. In 2018, Victoria Yokoi was named manager of Tooling and Process Engineering and Indirect Supply Chain at Boeing Portland, part of Boeing Fabrication.
She is responsible for ensuring the safety and development of people while achieving quality, cost and delivery targets. As a board member of the nonprofit Multiple Engineering Co-Op Program, she mentors interns and employees to support their personal and professional development.
Prior to her management roles, Yokoi was a tool and stress engineer, using Computer Aided Design software to design fixturing in support the machining of flight-critical components. In addition to supporting the 787 Dreamliner program she helped develop tooling for the 737 MAX and 777X programs.
Prior to joining Boeing, Yokoi graduated from Oregon State University (OSU) with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. She also holds a Leadership for Multi-Ethnic Professionals certificate from the Executive Development Institute and a master’s degree in Engineering, with a focus on Engineering Management, from OSU. She is also a graduate of Leadership NeXt program, a two-year Boeing program for developing high-potential individual contributors into leaders who inspire excellence in others, shape a culture that values inclusion and lead with a One Boeing mindset.
