Description
The True Crime Book Club is led by the true crime aficionado Rachel Newton Cumley. We would like to extend an invitation to all of our true crime enthusiasts.
Join us for the March meeting of the True Crime Book Club. This month’s pick is The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson.
The story of two men’s obsessions with the Chicago World’s Fair, one its architect, the other a murderer. “The Devil in the White City” draws the reader into a time of magic and majesty, made all the more appealing by a supporting cast of real-life characters, including Buffalo Bill, Theodore Dreiser, Susan B. Anthony, Thomas Edison, Archduke Francis Ferdinand, and others.
We offer 15% discount off our book club books. Due to the time and effort we put into organizing our book clubs if you choose to purchase the book elsewhere, already own it, or check it out from the library we will now be asking members who do not purchase their books at our shop to pay a $5 fee. Thank you for understanding and supporting us.
