Description
The Gresham Police Department is offering free training sessions on “Mental Health First Aid”.
This 8-hour course is facilitated by Gresham Police Officers and teaches you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. Participants will come away with the skills and tools to offer help to others and increase their personal knowledge. You will receive a certificate that demonstrates completion of 8 hours of training.
