Chocolat-e Inc wins bronze in International Chocolate Awards
SANDY, Ore. —
The Oregon-based gourmet chocolate company gets its first award after less than one year in business. How promising!
- Chocolat-e Inc won Bronze for its Dark Milk | Brazil | 43% chocolate bar at the International Chocolate Awards 2021-2022 “Americas” competition.
- The brand entered 5 different single origin chocolate bars in various categories. All 5 garnered scores above 77. The Brazil award-winner scored 85.64.
- Awesome achievement for the Oregon based company's first year in business and first batch, that anchors its strategy on the proposition that gourmet chocolate is to be appreciated and savored.
The prestigious International Chocolate Awards academy released their list for the 2021-22 winners for the Americas. On their 10th anniversary, Central and South American chocolatiers were the biggest award winners.
Chocolat-e was among the 25 U.S. winners for the Plain/origin bar section. Does that make them one of the 25 best chocolatiers in the United States?
Frédéric Cassel - one of the five founders of Chocolat-e Inc. (and their chocolatier) - is no stranger to awards. He won the title of Best Pastry Chef in France in both 1999 and 2007, and, as president of the French team, won the Pastry World Cup in 2013.

And because everybody loves chocolate…
