Gresham Historical Society presents The Japanese Community in Gresham Exhibit
Many do not realize that East Multnomah County was home to one of the earliest and largest community of Japanese settlers in the entire state of Oregon.
Learn about Miyo Iwakoshi, the Takaki family, and other early Japanese pioneer families; the reasons for their immigration to the US and their personal experiences.
There will be drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Admission is free!
