Mt. Hood Community College, Sandy River Basin Watershed Council, City of Gresham, East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District, DEQ, and Metro present Proposed Clean Water Retrofit Tour
The MHCC, the Sandy River Basin Watershed Council, City of Gresham, East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District, DEQ, and Metro are partnering to retrofit the campus to manage stormwater sustainability. This project will not only reduce stormwater fees, but will also reduce impacts of pollutants on endangered salmonids in Beaver Creek, which meets Kelly Creek on the MHCC campus. Strategies will include bioswales, naturescaping, and impervious pavement. This short tour will provide an overview of the proposed plan.
